TULSA, Okla. — PBR wrapped up a weekend of bull riding Saturday night at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa.
33 Professional Bull Riders competed for points, hoping to cinch a berth in the PBR World Finals happening in less than a month down in Ft. Worth, Texas.
The finals begin on May 13th and run through May 22.
At least two bull riders from Green Country competed, Venn Johns of Bixby and Wyatt Rogers of Coweta.
The local crowd cheered when they rode, but neither managed to make it to the finals.
PBR fan Derric Parks described his favorite thing to see a rider do at a rodeo. He said, “When they come out of that shoot and they hit off the side, it’s perfect. There’s just something majestic about it.”
