For north Tulsans, crime surveillance expanded with the addition of a North Tulsa Alert Neighbors page, like the pages for Midtown and South Tulsa.

More neighborhoods are asking to join the program, according to the Alert Neighbors director. Participants also expressed interest in active shooter training sessions.

Alert Neighbors also added Crime Prevention through Environmental Design, where residents can get detailed neighborhood safety evaluations. The program also includes tips for improvement.

Rounding out the series of expansions is a new mobile app: Tulsa Tips.

Users can send in tips and check the status of previously submitted tips for a payout.

The app also provides information on Tulsa's Most Wanted.
