Quick Facts:
  • Crime Prevention Network launches Tulsa Crime Stoppers App
  • It's available for free on Apple and Android devices
The Crime Prevention Network is taking Tulsa Crime Stoppers to the next level.
The non-profit organization is encouraging members of the public with smart phones or tablets to download and use a free mobile app to assist local authorities in stopping and deterring crime in the Tulsa County area.

The app, "Tulsa Tips", can be downloaded in the Google Play and iTunes store.
The software provides users with a secure and anonymous way to submit crime reporting tips, communicate with detectives, review or update previous tips, and receive notification if their tip has been approved for a reward.

"Many people believe you have to wait for a Most Wanted suspect to be released to the public or even a crime you see on the news to report.  Crime Prevention Network wants to encourage citizens to report crimes in progress or other information directly to the police.  However, some do not feel safe making a report.  In that case, the Tulsa Crime Stoppers program offers citizens the opportunity to do the right thing and report on any felony crime that they have information about." said Jennifer Rush, Executive Director, Crime Prevention Network
