• Couple loses home in south Tulsa house fire

    TULSA, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Firefighters are investigating a house fire in south Tulsa.
    • Tulsa firefighters told FOX23 the fire started in the garage of the home near 61st and Yale.
    • The homeowner went to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.
    • The homeowner, his wife, and their two dogs made it out of the house through a back door in their bedroom.
    • Firefighters said about 40 percent of the home is damaged and both cars in the garage were destroyed.
    • The wife said the family works in jewelry and lost a trunk of jewelry in the flames.
