"We are disappointed to have to cancel this year's parade, but all of our discussions with trained meteorologists point to cold and wet conditions which could be unsafe for students riding on floats," said Associate Superintendent of Student Services, Chuck Perry. "With the level of certainty in the forecast, we wanted to make this decision in advance before our students and community members worked to build and decorate their floats."

Broken Arrow's homecoming football game is still scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at the Yukon Memorial Stadium.
