A Bartlesville mother used her cellphone to capture the moment she told her son he beat cancer.

Ben Morris began fighting leukemia in 2014.  FOX23 was there when Bartlesville police and fire held a fundraiser for the family.

5-year-old Ben Morris of Bartlesville is fighting cancer and yesterday Bartlesville police officers and firefighters hosted a charity softball game to raise money to send Ben and his family to Hawaii. http://bit.ly/1kAUGdu

On June 1 his mother Casi posted a video on YouTube about the latest on his condition.

"It came back totally negative for leukemia, so Benjamin is cancer free," she explained as she walked into the house.

Then she called down Ben and his brother to deliver the news.

Morris has one more round of chemo and will end his night chemo on July 5.
