• 2 arrested, allegedly found with stolen guns and body armor

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Police investigated burglaries involving open garage doors reported near 61st and County Line Road in Broken Arrow.

Police spotted the suspects' car and chased them to Harvard and Admiral.

A suspect reportedly tried to run away, but a Tulsa police K9 helped bring him into custody.

Police arrested two people, and investigators later identified them as Preston Plum and Robert Hamilton.

Officers say they found possibly stolen guns and body armor.

They said the body armor is alarming, because it may mean that the suspects were not afraid to engage in violence with law enforcement or others.
