• 15,000 gallons of water used on rural Claremore house fire

    CLAREMORE, Okla. - Quick Facts:

    • Multiple agencies responded to a fire Thursday night near East 440 Road and South 4230 Road in Claremore.
    • It took more than 15,000 gallons of water to put out the flames that started in a storage building and spread to a home.
    • Tri-District Fire Protection and the Foyil Fire Department responded.
    • Part of the home was destroyed. A woman inside is safe and said she has somewhere to stay tonight.
    • The cause of the fire is under investigation.
