A person was shot in the chest at a Sapulpa apartment complex, according to the Sapulpa Police Department (SPD).
UPDATE (02/06/2023 1:50 p.m.) — The Sapulpa Police Department has revealed the identity of the suspect arrested in last night’s shooting.
Police said 26-year-old Morgan Roark was arrested for shooting with intent to kill and was booked into the Creek County Jail.
According to police, Roark and the victim were having an argument when Roark shot the victim with a handgun.
A person was shot in the chest at a Sapulpa apartment complex Sunday, according to the Sapulpa Police Department (SPD).
SPD said around 5:45 p.m., they were called to an apartment complex near East Hill Avenue and North Brown Street for a fight in which one person was shot.
SPD found a victim who was shot in the chest. The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
SPD said they have detained a suspect and will question them.
Nobody else was injured.
