BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — A traffic stop turned into a major drug bust involving a Broken Arrow woman on St. Patrick’s Day.
Police said officers pulled over Ashley Cox on Sunday when she allegedly sat at a traffic light for an unusual amount of time. The vehicle then veered left and made a correction to avoid hitting the center median.
Cox admitted her license had been suspended, according to police. When the officer placed her in handcuffs, he found heroin in her pocket.
The officer then searched the car and found meth, pills, marijuana and syringes.
When asked about the marijuana found in her wallet, Cox reportedly told the officer, “I don’t smoke it. I sell it.”
