Reba McEntire is not happy about women being left off the ACM Entertainer of the Year list

Singer-songwriter Reba McEntire attends the 50th annual CMA Awards at the Bridgestone Arena on November 2, 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee. Reports say she is starring in a new ABC drama.

Country music legend Reba McEntire announced the nominees for the Academy of Country Music Awards on Wednesday and was not pleased about the lack of female nominees.

No women were nominated for Entertainer of the Year. This just weeks after country artist Kacey Musgraves took home four Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

"It doesn't make me very happy because we've got some very talented women out there who are working their butts off," McEntire told the Tennessean.

This year's Entertainer of the Year nominees include Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan.
