Amanda Gilbert is excited to work for Fox23 as a multi-media journalist. She joined the team in October 2019.
Amanda was born and raised in Chicago. She studied broadcast journalism at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism. She was a news director, producer and reporter for the campus television station, “The Northwestern News Network.” Go cats!
She started her career at KWWL, the NBC affiliate in eastern Iowa. Amanda worked there for four years, and she was part of several Emmy award-winning newscasts. While there, she was promoted to weekend morning anchor. She won’t forget the friendly people who inspired her passion for storytelling.

Bartlesville’s historic Price Tower will transform into a “Haunter Hotel” for the first time ever. People are invited to check out the tower starting Oct. 22. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. each day the exhibition is open, and guests will check out the “guts” of the tower designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright.
