If the WIC programs would quit putting kids on 1% or 2% milk, maybe we would have healthier kids. I was raised on Vitamin D milk, as were my kids. But now, WIC scares these new parents that if their children are on Vitamin D milk they are at risk of becoming obese. Sorry, the milk isn't what is making kids obese!!
