At approximately 3:00 AM on Sunday, September 6, a house in East Tulsa caught fire. The blaze apparently started in the garage, and spread to consume the complete structure.  Tulsa Fire Fighters contained the blaze, and saved the house next to the burning home. They fought the conflagration with all their skills, knowledge, and bravery.
Although the loss of a house was a tragedy, the homeowners were out of town. A neighbor was able to contact them by telephone. She, and many other neighbors, expressed relief, knowing the home was unoccupied.
The video published with this story shows Tulsa Fire Fighters using the high-tech "Snorkel" device to help fight the fire. The still images show flames shooting from the house, reaching an estimated height of thirty feet, an overall image of the fully engulfed home, and a courageous Fire Fighter, working a hose, close to the blaze.
