This, I believe Blue herron, was perched on the roof of our neighbor across the street. A very odd sight for sure, since there isn't any water (pond, lake, river) close by our neighborhood. We are located down the road from Fox 23 News, at E. 24th st. This bird sat on this roof Monday night, Memorial Day, for a good hour or so.
