Heather Geller

Updated:

Heather Geller joined the FOX23 Sports team in June 2016.

She previously worked as a sports reporter at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas covering the Razorbacks and everything else the Natural State had to offer. While in Fayetteville, Heather interviewed several professional athletes, including Kansas City Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas, former NBA great Scottie Pippen, and sportscaster Verne Lundquist.

Before KFSM, she covered both news and sports at KFDA NewsChannel 10 in Amarillo, Texas. Heather worked as the morning news reporter and sports anchor. She started out as a general assignments reporter before moving to the mornings.

Even though she is originally from Visalia, California, Heather is excited to be back in Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Media Broadcast. You can catch her sporting “America’s Brightest Orange” quite often.

Not only is Heather returning to Oklahoma, but she is also returning to FOX23. She interned at the station in 2011. Heather was a part of FOX23’s coverage of the plane crash that killed the Oklahoma State women’s basketball coaches and four others. There she got her first taste of breaking news.

When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog Cooper, and of course watching sports. She likes to thank her brother for her passion of sports, growing up watching him play everything and learning the games along with him.

Feel free to send her an email with any story ideas, or just to say hello at hgeller@fox23.com.
