Cailey Dougherty joined the FOX23 News team in July 2015.

She is excited for the opportunity to report in her hometown.

Cailey grew up in Tulsa and attended Bishop Kelley High School. She attended the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Spanish. She was also a member of the Honors College, and graduated a semester early with Cum Laude honors.

In January 2014, Cailey began working at KOAM-TV/KFJX-TV as a multimedia journalist serving the Joplin, MO/Pittsburg, KS area.

Cailey completed a summer internship at FOX23 in 2011. She also interned at KJRH-TV, KOAM-TV/FOX14, TulsaPeople Magazine, and La Semana Del Sur bi-lingual paper in Tulsa. In addition, Cailey worked as an anchor/reporter for OU Nightly, the campus newscast at the University of Oklahoma.

During her time reporting in the Joplin area, Cailey covered several stories of rebuilding in the community following the 2011 Joplin tornado.  She also covered the immediate aftermath of the April 27, 2014 tornado that hit Quapaw, OK and Baxter Springs, KS.

In her spare time, Cailey enjoys running at Riverside Trails, and visiting other Tulsa hot spots with family and friends, such as Brookside and Cherry Street.
