I'm writing this blog at 11 pm Thursday night. TU just beat UTEP 33-11. Is it too late for me to take the Golden Hurricane and the points? No? What, you don't trust me?!
To tell you the truth, I would have definitely picked Tulsa to win the game, but I'm not sure I would have predicted the Hurricane to cover the 16.5 points.
OSU is on the road at Kansas Saturday. Jayhawk fans might not want to show up for this one ... or watch it on TV ... or read about it in the paper or on the internet. It will be a blowout. The Cowboys are favored by 27.5 points, and they will cover.
I think there's another game going on this weekend, but it's escaping me. Hmm. Let's see. Oh ya, the Red River Rivalry! Ha ha. OU/Texas is obviously one of the biggest games of the season, every season. I'm expecting a close one this time, but I expect the Sooners to make it three straight wins over the Longhorns, especially with newly eligible receiver Jalen Saunders in the fold for the OU offense. Oklahoma is favored by 3.5 points, and I expect the Sooners to cover.
As always, I don't charge for these picks. So don't hunt me down if you use them and lose money. I take no responsibility for anything I write on the internet. It is the internet, after all.
