The Thunder officially traded Kevin Martin to Minnesota in a three-team sign-and-trade deal that gets Oklahoma City a traded player exception and the rights to Szymon Szewczyk, a Polish player who the Bucks drafted in 2003 but has never played in the NBA.
Martin averaged 14 points and shot nearly 43 percent from three-point range in his one season with the Thunder. Martin of course came to Oklahoma City in the James Harden trade with the Rockets.
The trade exception Oklahoma City got in this deal would let the Thunder make a trade in the next year without matching up the salaries of the players involved.
Also in this trade, Luke Ridnour went to Milwaukee.
