FOX23 talked to several Oklahoma State University students who said they don't understand why Sports Illustrated sees this as a scandal.

"I don't think it has anything to do with the football program. I think it's just college kids doing what college kids do," said OSU freshman Bradley Burt.

Burt said he has a hard time believing the football program would use sex as a recruiting tool.

"I don't think that any coaches or anything are behind that happening. I think it's probably just happening like it always would at any school," he said.

Besides, he said, he's not even sure that's what would convince a highly touted recruit to come here.

"I don't think that's why they come here, though. I'm not sure that I believe that that's happening, like, as a selling point," he said.

According to Sports Illustrated's report, one anonymous recruit told them two Orange Pride hostesses picked him up when he arrived and told him they were taking him to dinner, but had to make a stop first.

The recruit claims he was having sex with both girls minutes later. The report refers to several other anonymous sources who said this was not uncommon, and was expected, although not talked about by officials in the athletics department.

While the report points out it was only a select few girls in the organization that would engage in sex with recruits OSU senior James Davies told FOX23 News he doesn't think it was because they were compelled or expected to by anybody in the Athletics Department.
