Report: Magic agree to terms with Maxiell

(Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic have reportedly agreed to terms with forward Jason Maxiell.

The two-year deal is worth $5 million, according to Yahoo! Sports. The Magic hold an option on Maxiell's $2.5 million for the 2014-15 season.

Maxiell spent the first eight seasons of his NBA career with the Detroit Pistons. He averaged 6.9 points and a career-high 5.7 rebounds in 72 games last season.

Originally drafted by the Pistons in the first round of the 2005 draft, Maxiell has averaged 6.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in 523 career games (175 starts).
