Former Sooner safety Tony Jefferson is getting trashed by the OU coaches, at least that's what Charlie Campbell is reporting for www.walterfootball.com. But an OU source told FOX23 "there's an old NFL adage--don't believe anything you read before the draft."

Campbell is covering the Senior Bowl, which Jefferson will play in. Campbell is reporting scouts are saying Jefferson's former coaches are telling NFL teams to pass on him because he's got horrible practice habits and a lack of work ethic in the weight room.

Jefferson seems to believe the story. He tweeted about it several times Tuesday including one that said "coaches hate me man. It's all good tho."

Jefferson skipped his senior year at OU to go to the NFL. He led the Sooners in tackles last season with 119.
