It looks like OSU offensive coordinator Todd Monken has a new job.

According to multiple reports, he'll be the new Southern Miss head coach, and the press conference will be Tuesday.

The Hattiesburg American was the first outlet to report the story.

Monken has been the Cowboys offensive coordinator for two seasons, and he's done a very good job. OSU has been ranked in the top five in total offense and scoring offense both year, this season with three different starting quarterbacks and without Justin Blackmon and Brandon Weeden, who were both picked in the first round of the last NFL Draft.

The Cowboys will play Purdue in the Heart of Dallas Bowl on New Year's Day.

No official word yet who will call plays for OSU.
