Local Bass Master reels in big catch

Local bassmaster angler, Edwin Evers is vying for the Bassmaster's Classic Title.  One of the top 10 bass fisherman in the country, Evers has won events before, but nothing on a stage this big.

"The Bassmasters is the World Series of fishing, the Super Bowl, and it's everything," said Evers.

Anglers prepare year round, by fishing...and eating.

"Diets are big, anglers can burn upwards of 9-10 thousand calories while on the lake," said Bassmaster's angler Kevin Van Dam.

It will be a battle of overall skill, and come Sunday, the Bassmasters' Champion will be crowned.
