FOX23 has learned a negligence lawsuit has been filed in the 2011 plane crash that killed two Oklahoma State University women's basketball coaches.
Kurt Budke and Miranda Serna's family are suing the estate of the deceased pilot and his wife. They are asking for an unspecified amount of money from the estate of Olin and Paula Branstetter.
Budke, Serna and the Branstetters all died in November of 2011, when the Branstetters' plane crashed in Arkansas.
The coaches were on a recruiting trip. Investigators believe the pilot lost control, but they still don't know why.
