Oklahoma City Thunder player Kendrick Perkins has been arrested and released on bail Thursday.
FOX23 obtained court documents from Harris County, Texas. According to the documents, Perkins and his brother in law Quincy Alpough are accused of punching a woman and her brother outside a Houston Nighclub in July.
According to court documents the incident happened at Nox Nightclub. The victim, Mikeeta Cotton told police her car backed into another vehicle. She claims she went to speak with the driver when a female passenger "got out of the car and began to pull her hair back in a ponytail and take off her jewelry.”
Cotton told police she calmed the passenger down, while Alpough ran up and pushed her, yelling "That's my cousin.” The reports reads Cotton's brother, Ja'Keenan Cotton was punched in the head by Perkins, causing him to fall to the ground and later punched Miketta Cotton in the face with a closed fist, also causing her to fall down.
A third victim claimed she was struck in the throat by Alpough's elbow, knocking her unconscious. The victims also reported a group of people swarmed them and "repeatedly stomped and kicked all three complainants on the ground".
Perkins was charged with misdemeanor assualt and posted $1000 bond.
Perkins was last arrested in 2011 for another incident at a nightclub.
