Former OU and Booker T. football star De'Mond Parker was charged with drug trafficking and drug possession Tuesday.
Parker was arrested last month after a car he was riding in was stopped by police for running a stop sign. Officers found marijuana in Parker's pocket, and a search of the car turned up 28 grams of crack and a machete.
Parker played at OU for three seasons in the 1990s, rushing for 3,403 yards. He ranks seventh in Sooner history for career rushing.
Parker was drafted by the Packers in the fifth round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played in 19 games for Green Bay over two seasons.
