Cards' Fitzgerald to replace Thomas in Pro Bowl

Tempe, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will replace Denver wideout Demaryius Thomas in the 2014 Pro Bowl.

Fitzgerald, who was initially selected as an alternate, makes the Pro Bowl after Thomas' Broncos reached Super Bowl XLVIII earlier Sunday.

This will mark Fitzgerald's seventh straight Pro Bowl appearance and eighth overall, tying safety Larry Wilson for most in team history.

Fitzgerald caught 82 passes for 954 yards and 10 touchdowns this season while becoming the ninth player in NFL history to catch 10 or more scores in five different seasons.
