Bridge repair project starting Thursday night in south Tulsa

Starting Thursday night, construction crews will start making emergency repairs to a Creek Turnpike bridge over Memorial Drive, after it was hit by an oversize load on Friday afternoon. 

Work will happen during the hours of 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. During that time, one lane of Memorial Drive will be closed on the south bound side under the bridge. Crews will have to temporarily close both lanes during different times in the repair process. 

Drivers should be aware of possible closures and find alternate routes around the work. Crews anticipate to have the project done by Sunday morning.
