WACO, Texas (AP) - Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty knows people will remember November.
The fifth-ranked Bears also know their 7-0 start and highest ranking in 60 years won't mean nearly as much without finishing strong in a challenging stretch. The Bears play their first ranked opponent of the season Thursday night at home against No. 12 Oklahoma.
These Bears are no longer the pushovers in the Big 12. And Oklahoma knows that, even with a 21-1 series advantage. The Sooners lost in their last trip to Waco two years ago, ending their national championship hopes.
Baylor has won a school-record 11 games in a row since losing at Oklahoma last November.
