Indianapolis, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano confirmed the injury at a news conference Monday.

"He'll have to get that thing fixed, but he'll be with us every step of the way," said Pagano on Monday.

Wayne was hurt on a non-contact play while trying to catch a low pass from Andrew Luck in the fourth quarter of the Colts' 39-33 win over the Denver Broncos.

The 34-year-old veteran was leading the Colts with 38 receptions and 503 yards in seven games. His streak of 189 consecutive games, longest among active players, will come to an end.

"He'll get his surgery, he'll rehab, he'll grind," Pagano added. "He'll do whatever it takes to get back on that field. He's not going out like this."

Wayne is in his 13th NFL season, all with Indianapolis. He has 1,006 catches for 13,566 yards with 80 touchdowns in his career.
