Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs placed defensive lineman Allen Bailey on injured reserve Thursday.

Bailey totaled five tackles in 10 games this season, but hasn't played since a loss at Pittsburgh in Week 10.

The Georgia native has compiled 12 tackles in 26 games over the last two years with the Chiefs.

To fill the roster slot, the Chiefs signed linebacker Leon Williams. Williams had been released by KC on Aug. 31 and did not catch on with another club.

The 29-year-old Miami-Florida product hasn't played in the regular season since 2010 with the Dallas Cowboys.
