Brooklyn, NY (Sports Network) - Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich has returned to Chicago to have his right elbow examined.
He will miss Friday's game against the Nets in Brooklyn.
Dr. Brian Cole will evaluate Hinrich and determine his status once all medical information has been gathered.
Hinrich is averaging 7.0 points and 5.2 assists in 40 games this season.
