Recap: Baltimore vs. Detroit
Sarasota, FL (Sports Network) - Tony Plagman's go-ahead two-run triple in the top of the ninth inning lifted the Detroit Tigers past the Baltimore Orioles, 6-4, in spring training action.
Plagman also smacked a solo homer in the seventh while Miguel Cabrera added two doubles and two RBI for Detroit. Starter Duane Below allowed three runs on three hits and four walks in 3 1/3 innings.
Adam Jones laced a solo homer and Endy Chavez had two hits and a run batted in for Baltimore. Starter Brian Matusz gave up three runs on five hits and one walk in five innings.
