Recap: Washington vs. Houston
Viera, FL (Sports Network) - Roger Bernadina smacked a two-run home run and Wilson Ramos added two hits with a run batted in and a run scored as the Washington Nationals defeated the Houston Astros, 7-4, in spring training action.
Chad Tracy also had a pair of hits to go with an RBI and run scored for Washington, which got five innings of two-run ball from starter John Lannan. He struck out five.
Brandon Barnes had two hits, including a two-run homer, and Chris Johnson laced a solo shot for Houston. Starter Jordan Lyles allowed five runs -- three earned -- on eight hits and one walk in 4 2/3 innings. He fanned five.
