Bronx, NY (Sports Network) - The New York Yankees claimed pitcher Mickey Storey off waivers from the Houston Astros on Tuesday.

Storey made his MLB debut this past August with Houston and went 0-1 with a 3.86 earned run average in 26 relief appearances.

Also on Tuesday, the team added pitchers Manny Banuelos, Brett Marshall, Jose Ramirez, Francisco Rondon and Nik Turley and outfielder Ramon Flores to their 40-man roster.

In addition, pitcher Dave Herndon elected free agency in place of being outrighted to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
