Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Dodgers announced reliever Javy Guerra underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder Friday.

The team announced the procedure was to clean up bursitis and the A-C joint.

Guerra, who didn't pitch after Sept. 2 due to a left oblique muscle strain, compiled a 2-3 mark with eight saves and a 2.60 ERA in 45 games in 2012. He didn't allow a run in his final 10 appearances, a span of 12 1/3 innings.
