Columbia, SC (Sports Network) - Brian Richardson tied a career-high with 20 points off the bench, and the South Carolina Gamecocks ran away with a 75-54 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks in Southeastern Conference play at Colonial Life Arena.

Bruce Ellington added 14 points and Lakeem Jackson scored 11 for the Gamecocks (12-7, 2-4 SEC), whose 21-point margin of victory marked their largest in SEC play since beating Kentucky by 18 on Feb. 25, 2009.

Arkansas raced out to a 15-3 lead less than five minutes into the game, but South Carolina called a timeout to regroup and answered with 13 straight points. The Gamecocks closed out the half with a staggering, 40-11 run to take a 43-26 lead into the break.

A dunk by Powell made it a 12-point game with 10:37 to play, but the Gamecocks responded with a 9-0 spurt to end the threat.

South Carolina simply dominated, as the Gamecocks shot a blistering 57.7 percent from the floor and made 7-of-12 3-pointers (.583). They also held a 42-26 rebounding advantage, which marks the largest rebounding differential in SEC play this season.
