All-Bran Rolls

Ingredients and Preparation

Ingredients Measures
All-Bran Cereal 1 Cup
salt 1 1/2 teaspoons
vegetable oil 1 cup
sugar 3/4 cup
dry yeast 3 packages
eggs 2
flour 6 Cups
    Directions
  1. Combine the cereal, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the vegetable oil on top and stir.
  3. Add 1 cup of boiling water and stir to disolve the oil.
  4. Let cool 5 minutes.
  5. Disolve the yeast in 1 cup of lukewarm water.
  6. Take 2 eggs and beat them and add to the first mixture along with the yeast.
  7. Beat the batter as you add each cup of flour. You now have the bread dough.
  8. Cover and place in the refrigerator.
  9. Refrigerate overnight.
  10. Knead the dough before shaping it into balls about 2 inches in size.
  11. Roll each ball and place 1 inch apart in a small 9x9 lightly greased pan.
  12. Cover the rolls with cloth and allow the rolls to rise for three or four hours.
  13. Bake the rolls at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until brown on top.
  14. Remove from oven and brush with margarine and salt lightly.
