Rob Loeber has been part of the FOX 23 Sports team since August of 2004. Since February of 2006, Rob has been the Sports Director and enjoys sharing his passion and enthusiasm for local sports. Having grown up in Edmond, just outside of Oklahoma City, Rob has a love for Oklahoma sports and the unique sports atmosphere in this state. There is a focus on college and high school athletics and Rob says the most rewarding part of the job is connecting with coaches and players and telling compelling stories. Rob's broadcasting career began as a freshman at Valparaiso University in 2000 doing news and sports for the campus radio station. After transferring to the University of Oklahoma, Rob continued his work in radio at KREF in Norman as a producer, play-by-play voice of high school football, color commentator for OU baseball, and sports anchor at the campus TV station. Rob graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2004. In his spare time, Rob enjoys traveling, fishing, and playing tennis. Send Rob an Email: rloeber@fox23.com
