Janna Clark was the first reporter hired at FOX23 News back in 2001, and she helped launch the news in February 2002. Janna grew up in Tulsa. She went to high school at Booker T. Washington. Then she went to college at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. There she double majored in Broadcast Journalism and French.
Janna began her broadcast career as a reporter at KXII-TV in the Ardmore, OK bureau. Janna was thrilled to come back to her hometown to report on stories that mean so much to her Green Country neighbors. She’s covered every kind of news -- breaking news, education stories, investigative stories, and feature stories like “On the Road.” Janna is one of the most award-winning reporters at FOX23 News. She’s won numerous Marshall Gregory Awards for her education stories, as well as awards from the Associated Press and Oklahoma Broadcasters Association. Janna’s also won a regional Emmy and several regional Edward R. Murrow awards. Most recently, she won a national Edward R. Murrow Award for news writing. When she's not reporting, Janna enjoys playing softball, watching sports (especially OSU football and basketball), and spending time with her friends and family. Janna is always looking for a good news story. Send Janna an Email: jclark@fox23.com |
