Emily Sinovic joined the Fox 23 team as a reporter in March 2006. Emily was born and raised in Kansas City before she left for Chicago, IL and graduated from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism with degrees in journalism and political science. Emily began her broadcast career her junior year in college reporting for Fargo, North Dakota's Fox affiliate. After graduating, Emily reported for almost two years in Evansville, IN at WFIE. During her time in Southwestern Indiana, Emily became familiar with severe weather during her helicopter coverage of the area's record setting 2004 blizzard, weeks of severe flooding reports in 2005 and her stories of recovery and devestation after the area's deadly November 2005 tornado. When she's not reporting, Emily enjoys running, cheering for her KC and Northwestern teams, traveling across the country to see friends, and driving just a few hours north to visit her family.
