Before coming to Tulsa, Doug spent two years in Wilmington, North Carolina as weekend anchor and political/general assignment reporter. During his time in Wilmington, Doug covered local and state politics.

Doug also went to school in North Carolina, where he graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Business. That's where he became interested in broadcast journalism, volunteering at the campus TV station.

When he's not working, you can find Doug on the golf course or tennis court. He also enjoys traveling. He's been to nearly every major U.S. city and European country.
