BERRYHILL, Okla. - Officials from Wild Heart Ranch are caring for two goats after someone recorded footage of a dog dragging one of the goats by the leg, according to a post on the ranch's Facebook page.
Officials say they have been working with the GoatsofAnarchy rescue group out of New Jersey after the group shared the video of the goat and captured the web's attention.

A statement from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office alleged that, despite the New Jersey group's claims, deputies responded to a single call regarding the situation in December and found the goat involved was uninjured. A Facebook post from the sheriff's office said further investigation showed that a picture of the goat with a bloody ear stemmed from an injury that took place when the goat tried to escape a fence.
The sheriff's office asked that people stop inundating their dispatch center with calls about the goats, and they urged people to investigate facts before sharing stories on Facebook.
A Wild Heart spokesperson said they contacted Tulsa County deputies about taking the goats in for care, but they say the goat's owner offered to give up the goats in order to stop harassment he reportedly received after his address was posted on social media.
Now, officials say the goats are in Wild Heart's care, and they will receive medical treatment and care from a veterinarian.
They believe the dog was young and "rambunctious" when it routinely got too rough with the goats.
Neither of the goats were seriously injured, but officials say they suffered several cuts, scrapes and punctures.
