• UPDATE: Search turns up empty after hourslong standoff

    • Tulsa Police are searching a house for evidence after a standoff near Xyler and Pittsburg streets 
    • The suspect is accused of firing off shots while others were in the home
    • TPD didn't find the suspect in the search, but will search the home to find additional evidence

    Tulsa Police are searching a house after a long standoff near Xyler and Pittsburg streets. 

    The standoff started around 4 p.m. when police say a suspect fired off rounds inside a house while at least two other people were there. 

    No one was hurt and everyone made it out safely. 

    The Tulsa Police Swat team arrived around 7 p.m. and were able to clear the home. 

    TPD says they have a search warrant for the house because they believe there is evidence inside.
