UPDATE -- Cedric Jackson, 19, charged with First-Degree Murder has entered a plea deal.
Jackson plead Nolo Contendere to Second-Degree Murder and will server 30 years in the Department of Corrections. Jackson also recieved two more 30 year sentences to run concurrent with the Second-Degree Murder charge for Shooting With Intent to Kill.
Jackson was charged for in a shooting on 11/10/09, at 4804 N. Yorktown Place that left one man dead and another injured.
UPDATE -- Homicide Detectives arrested Cedric Jackson for 1st Degree Murder. Jackson had been listed as a person of interest in the homicide that occurred on 11/10/09, at 4804 N. Yorktown Place.
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police are looking for a 29-year-old man in the shooting death of one man and wounding of another near an elementary school.
Police say they want to question Cedric Jackson in connection with the shooting and say he may be heading to the town of Slick in southeastern Creek County.
The shooting occurred just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday outside a home near William Penn Elementary school and left a 31-year-old man dead and a 26-year-old man wounded.
No other injuries are reported and the names of the victims haven't been released.
