Police: Man robs Tulsa hair salon, changes clothes in nearby restaurant


TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa police said a man robbed a hair salon near 31st and S. 111th E. Ave. on Saturday.

Officials told FOX23 the man wore a mask and demanded cash while brandishing a gun in the store.

He then ran to a nearby Zaxby’s restaurant, changed clothes in the bathroom and ran. He left the clothes and a plastic gun there. Police said he tried flushing it all down the toilet.

Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage of the incident.
