Woodford sentenced to consecutive life sentences

TULSA, Okla. —

A man convicted in the death and sexual assault of a Tulsa woman and the beating of her husband will spend the rest of his life in prison. 

Tyrone Woodfork has been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences plus 40 years in prison. He was convicted of brutally attacking Bob and Nancy Strait in March of 2012. Nancy died one day after the attack, Bob died one month later. 

He was convicted of first-degree murder, two first-degree rape counts, two counts of armed robbery and single counts of first-degree burglary and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
