TULSA, Okla. —

Police are investigating a shooting that has two people in the hospital Sunday night.

Witnesses living near 46th Street North and North Cincinnati Avenue told FOX23 they heard multiple gunshots just before 5:30 p.m.

Police had no suspect information as of Sunday night. Officers said the two victims haven’t been cooperating.

But people living in the area want answers. Joyce Thomas said she was concerned when she heard the gunshots outside. She immediately thought of her two children.

“They were outside riding their bikes…My little girl was crying when I came out she was so scared,” Thomas said.

Police said someone fired multiple shots in the area.

“Upon our arrival all parties here had already left the scene,” said Cpl. Ross Williams with Tulsa police.

Williams said two victims from the shooting showed up at Hillcrest Hospital a short time later.

Police didn’t release a suspect description but Thomas said she saw the shooter.

“I saw a guy in a green car, a green Cavalier, just shooting. He just lit up right here in front of my house,” Thomas said.

“We are trying to piece everything together. It will just take a while,” Williams said.

FOX23 will continue to follow this developing story.
