Tulsa pizza companies report business boom before Thanksgiving

While turkeys were baking in the ovens of many Green Country residents, many local families ordered pizza Wednesday night.

The night before Thanksgiving is one of the biggest nights of the year for pizza sales.

Orders started picking up around 5 Wednesday afternoon, and some families told FOX23 that the pizza is a family tradition after spending all day in the kitchen.

A spokesperson from a local pizza company said hundreds of Tulsans enjoyed pizza Wednesday night, and their phones were off the hook.

He said their business usually makes triple the amount of money on a normal Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving.
